Hi, i'm new to the forum.

I am looking for a service manual for a friend who's bringing me his Panasonic SA-PM21 stereo later this week.
It doesn't have an AUX input so he wants to modify the output from the CD player and install a switched 6.3mm jack socket on the back.
Here's his original thread on another forum: http://www.circuitbenders.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=994.msg5737 (http://www.circuitbenders.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=994.msg5737)

He told me there isn't a screaned 3 core audio cable coming from the CD player PCB, just a ribbon cable.
He's not very experienced in technical electronics so he asked me to look at it.

I have a few paper service manuals to sell (and lots of PDF ones to share) if anyone wants them, including Denon, Toshiba, Ferguson, Aiwa and a few others.

I also have lots of spare ICs, Motors, Inductors, computer fans and various cables that I probably won't need again so would like to sell / give these away as well.

Cheers,
Simon

I registered on the main site, and tried searching for said service manual but when I type in something and click the search button on the right side of the page, nothing happens - not even a message in the status bar.

I'm using Firefox version 3.0.9 with Google toolbar and Noscript installed.
Even if I disable Noscript, clear private data (cookies, cache, history, etc...), restart, and re-login, the search button still doesn't work. Any idea's.

Thanks,
Simon
