I'm trying to revive an old Steamist steam shower that has been completely dead for some time.  Everything is in place and properly wired/plumbed.  The voltage is present throughout the unit and the resistors, etc. I tested all seem fine.  I'm suspicious of a smal black box that I don't recognize -- a relay, perhaps?  There are two of them right next to each other (see photo).  Each has two metal blades that I can test with a meter.  The one on the right shows continuity when the power is off, and 240V when the power is on.  The one on the left shows no continuity when the pwer is off, and no voltage when the power is on.

The label on the boxes reads: Potter & Brumfeld  T91SWD22-20F01

Does anyone know what these are ... and should they both be reading the same with the meter?  If so, then the one on the left appears to be dead ...

THanks for any advice/insight ...

Now, if you had done a search on Google for "Potter & Brumfeld ," then you would have found out that Potter & Brumfeld manufacture coils and relays. Wink
