Hello to all,
I need help repairing a hp DV6000 loatop.
When I turn on the power,power light go on but the unit do not BOOT no display HD not runing..
I found that on some tantalum capacitors the impedence is very low-3.1ohme.Is this impedence normal or there is a short circuit some where
Deos any one can give me any tip to solve this problem?

remove the cpu and verify again.
I have a similar problems on toshiba laptop, waiting a new processor..

Hello friend,
I checked the impedence without the microcontroller and it is still very low 3.1ohme
Do you have other ideas.

you have verified with and without CPU the voltage on that point?
it would have to be to us 1,2V +-
