Hi,

I’ve got a Hannstar Panel HSD190ME12-A10, which just shows me a white screen. On board there is a burned out SMD-Diode. The position of the board is D100. The Diode is completely incinerated. Does somebody know, what kind of diode it was or which Marking-Code she had?

Sorry, my English isn’t that good.
Hope you can understand it. I would be well pleased about a soon answer.

Dear pardeep,

The panel is located in a Hannstar Monitor Model: HC194DP and I don’t have the service manual of this monitor. But I think that the information I’m looking for can’t be found in the service manual, because of the diode is directly on the board of the panel. I would be very grateful, if you can send me the service manual. In the Annex there is a picture of the board, may it would be helpful to find the Marking-Code of the diode.

 Smiley Hi
Diode you need is: http://download.siliconexpert.com/pdfs/diode/ons/mbrm120lt3-d.pdf (http://download.siliconexpert.com/pdfs/diode/ons/mbrm120lt3-d.pdf)
it is a schottky diode, but maybe ic U100 is bad
(http://soloi.iespana.es/U100.bmp)
Check U100 and associated components with big lamp and magnifier glass, clean all with
adecuate solvent (carbon tetrachloride or acrilic thinner) and test components one by one.
With patience you can fix it.
